Sebastian Boesmi develops a characteristic and personal style constantly nurtured by his experiences, travels, and daily observations. According to the artist: "My work is very much like my life. They are images full of intimate experiences, with a kind of very personal rhythm and cadence that speak of migration and movement, of the relationship we have with technology and nature, and above all reflect
on the need not to forget the playful, aesthetic, and pleasurable dimension of contemporary art."
Boesmi has received recognitions such as the Henri Matisse Prize from the French Embassy in Paraguay and has exhibited both individually and collectively in renowned international galleries and museums in Spain, France, Paraguay, and Argentina, highlighting Casa de América in Madrid, the Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno, Galería Espai.B in Barcelona, and the Centro Cultural Borges in Buenos Aires, El Museo del Barro, Fundación Migliorisi, Sala Alcalá 31, among others. In the last 20 years, the artist has lived and worked in New York, USA, Johannesburg, ZA, Barcelona ES, Miami, U.S.A., Paris, FR, Amsterdam NL, Berlin DEU, and currently in Madrid, ES.
