Marcelo Mendonça is a Brazilian visual artist based in Madrid. His career is marked by the use of unusual materials, giving a poetic meaning to these pieces. His work ranges from sculptures to artistic installations and video art. Marcelo has an extensive career, with artist residencies in Italy and Mexico, exhibitions across Europe, such as in Vienna, Rome, Bologna, Lisbon, Barcelona, Madrid, in Guadalajara -Mexico and Brazil, in the cities of Salvador and Fortaleza. Awarded by the Complutense University with the first prize in Sculpture and by the Banco do Nordeste in Ceará. Marcelo is Co-Director of Estúdio Inverso in Madrid.
